after hours of testing and comparing vbtube with other script i wiould to suggest some features that will make vbtube more perfect than any tube like script :
1. vbtube files should be in another folder than vbulletin files and this give us an option to use subdomain for it and may be this also can be used in future to support multiserver hosting of flv files
2.vbtube use thread and post of vbulletin and this as i see affect the real number of threads in forum and for my site i wold like to use vbtube with its posts as independent of vbulletin posts
3.uploading feature which is the most important feature that i look for should have an progress bar as other script using the same feature , so the user can know how muct time he should wait and how many mega byte he uploaded
4.support for h264
5. flash player should not show the uploader folder and this is to protect the files from downloading , hot linking , and other issue
6.option to download the file or not
7. category description
8.support subcategories also
9.user can make the file he uploaded private or public ,if private he can choose if his buddylist can access or not
10.clubs or vbtube group like what in other youtube like script
i think those are the most important features needed
and thank u for your perfect script

I think you are forgetting a key factor here.......
The "Other" script is a stand alone php script which is built specifically for and to only be a video site script.
What Murat has been able to develop here is an integration script....a.k.a "Mod" for an existing infrastructure which you can simply add on and port right into your cmps, blog, or forum.
People are asking so much from him and he's delivered so many new options in less than 6months. Before this was even available, there wasn't one other soul on this planet able to create such a mod without a zillion different vulnerability's. Though I don't require the many different levels of modification so many of you pine for, this project has brought me so much more traffic and members than I ever would have thought before.
Instead of constantly complaining there isn't enough, why not get started with what is already in place and allow him to continue his development in building everything which the customers want to eventually see? Everybody has to start somewhere. And yes, it is a perfect script.

Sir, I know that Murat is going to implement this feature, he spoke of it about 4 months ago. However, it does not seem to be considered as high-priority for him and I am hoping that this poll might change that. This feature would make a lot of difference for me.

As would all of us. I too would like to have such a feature, but creating polls to rush him into introducing a completely new feature would sidetrack from perfecting the Beta's we already use. He doesn't get a chance to perfect the beta's because he's being continually rushed into implementing other options. We need to let something work before we start moving into more advanced features. He also supports this script by himself. Each time he releases a new beta, he's bombarded with tech help request. Ultimately, allowing time on each version change will benefit all of us in the future.

1. Creating threads for each vbTube entry and it comments is appropriate since it allows for better integration with vBulletin. I think a better feature request would be a script that provides the admin an option to not have threads & posts created by vbTube count towards the total counts. It should be much easier than the total rewrite that would required if vbTube didn't use VB threads for entries & comments.
2. What do you mean by .h264 support?. Flash player supports h264 encoding by default, so this product does support that codec. Do you mean to support h264 codec in other video containers, like asf & avi files?
3. I do agree about the progress bar though. It's important 'cause video files are large and many people do not have fast dsl, especially in the US (not like Europe or Asia).
4. Also, the flash player not showing the upload folder is important for securing the files.

I think people are getting a little off-topic here...
Yes, I would like sub-categories, and I'm pretty sure Murat is already planning to add this in a future version.
