I don't plan on allowing people to upload videos, just link to them. So, would it be a problem to purchase the Pro version and NOT install the additional video software that the Pro version requires?

The Pro version allows a lot more videos to be linked from a lot more places which is why I'm thinking I'd go with the Pro version.

Are there any other benefits of the Pro vs. the Lite versions?

1. You can disable upload Feature for users. If you don't need the upload Feature, then you don't need to install additional Software (FFMPEG).
