Sorry for the time I have not replay.
I have found the isue in FFMPEG and this script is working now.
When I type ffmpeg -version I get this message:

FFmpeg version SVN-r14311, Copyright (c) 2000-2008 Fabrice Bellard, et al.
configuration: --prefix=/usr/local/ffmpeg
libavutil version: 49.7.0
libavcodec version: 51.60.0
libavformat version: 52.17.0
libavdevice version: 52.0.0
built on Jul 20 2008 08:25:32, gcc: 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-3)
FFmpeg SVN-r14311
libavutil 3213056
libavcodec 3357696
libavformat 3412224
libavdevice 3407872

But there is stil a error because I don't see the video and thumbnail comming up.
The message what I get is that the media succesfull is uploaded.

When I browse in de map from the server I don't see the video and thumbnail in the thum and flv folder
But when i look in the tmp folder there is a videofiles.
That must be the video I have uploaded because everytime I uploading a video I see a new videofile there.

Any idea what can be wrong?
Ofcourse I have 777 the folder thum and flv as you wrote.

If he make a mistake in 777,maybe some explanation
You wrote that only the map flv and thumb must be set to 777
But there is also the file index.html.txt
Must this also set to 777?
And the text inside?
Must this be keep vbtube.com?
Also the upload folder, this folder setting must not be 777??

No the index.html is not important you can delete it. Some servers do not upload a empty Folder and the upload folders are empty when you download it here. Thats why a simple index.html is there. The upload Folder have also set to 777 - thumb 777 flv 777. And If path is correct it have to work.

I have reinstall the files but again without any results.
There is maybe one thing left what can be wrong and that is the php.ini file.
Do you have some best settings for this files?
Now I can uploading max 8Mb, maybe this is the isue?
(uploaded video file is mov 2 Mb)

After hours of research I stop with search for the bug.
The software don't work on my server for uploading video.
The only thing what is happen that the video uploading to the TEMP map.
That's it.
I think there must be more research done for optimal the uploading.
I have uploading here a mov file and there is also no thumb made through the script.
FFMPEG is installed and working fine, but on this moment not with this script on my server

I've instaled FFmpeg:

FFmpeg version SVN-r14363, Copyright (c) 2000-2008 Fabrice Bellard, et al.
configuration:
libavutil version: 49.7.0
libavcodec version: 51.60.0
libavformat version: 52.18.0
libavdevice version: 52.0.0
built on Jul 24 2008 18:11:20, gcc: 4.1.2 20070925 (Red Hat 4.1.2-33)
FFmpeg SVN-r14363
libavutil 3213056
libavcodec 3357696
libavformat 3412480
libavdevice 3407872

I've done the chmod part ( flv and thumb )

The forum path in vbtube options it's ok

But I can't upload videos: the video file it's not uploaded / nothing appears to thumbs/flv directory and I get a vbulletin database error when I try to delete the video.

vbtubepro grabs after 10 seconds the thumbnail.
if the video is only 3-4 seconds no thumb is created.

Do you use suhosin security ?

Optimal php.ini
