Thread: Queries?

Am interested in getting this as an addon on our board we are using vb4.1.7 as of now.

• Does this work properly on vb4? Seeing that vb4 is getting few core updates soon. So is this addon upgraded regularly too ... to keep up with vb4?
• We basically share videos from youtube, megavideo or vimeo. Do these works normally ? (No videos stored on our server) Am mostly concerned about megavideo to be honest.

Yes vbtube working with vbulletin 4.1.7
In the past we had no problems when vb updated.
Vbtube worked properly with vbulletin updates.
Of course we will work on vbtube to make it work with all future updates of vbulletin.

Megavideo thumbnails do not work. Vimeo and youtube working 100%.

- Hmm alright so can we add a custom thumbnail instead or there is just a default MV thumbnail which cannot be changed ?
- I noticed on a board that if you add parts it is labeled as Part1 or Part2 and so on... can this be renamed into Episode 1, Episode 2 and so on? Basically replace "Part" with "Episode" ?

Yes you can add custom thumbs.

You can change the phrase to episode.

Right that cleared that up. Only one last question... is the only version available for download that is the $150 one? As we would not be uploading any videos of our own nor would upload any photos or anything... Just embed 3rd party links. Is there any other version for that? As i recalled last when i came here before, i was told you may be developing a version only for embedding too which would be cheaper. Sorry if i am wrong.. but i just wanted to clear things before i bought anything

$150 to just embed links seems a lil costly haha so need to be clear about it.

Hmm that would truly be awesome indeed, but any ETA on this ? I would definitely buy that as that's exactly what i am looking for. Should i wait then ?

That sounds good to me I'll come and buy it then, as a lite version is exactly what i am looking for. Is there any newsletter or forum i can subscribe to which would let me know when you've released it?
