    Default A few questions

I'm interested in vBTube but before purchasing I'd like to ask a few questions:

1- Is vBTube compatible with the newly updated vB version 4.1.8?
1a- Are vBTube updates free if and when needed each time vB updates their version?

2- I understand vBTube does not support the ability for users to attach their own uploaded videos to a forum post or blog post at the moment. Are there any plans to add this functionality? This would be a very beneficial feature for my site.

2a- I understand that vBTube starts a new thread for each new video that's uploaded with a link to that video. As the admin can I set which forum that new thread is started?

3- I noticed in the demo that each video has a link to the profile of the uploader however there is no list or thumbnails of their uploaded videos in their profile. Do you have any plans to add this? Perhaps a tab next to "About Me" with a "video" tab that shows all the videos from this member.

4- Does vBTube use vBulletin default classes for general design so that once loaded the media page will look exactly like my theme?

5- Can I place a random video on the Main cms page, or in the sidebar of the forum, in a widget?

6- Do you have a demo ACP for us to see?

7- On the "Media" page can the videos be sorted by users?

8- As the admin can I delete any video I feel should not be allowed uploaded?

9- Do users have the ability to delete their own videos after uploading if they so choose?

10- Would you be open to adding custom functions if requested? For a fee of course.

Thank you in advance for your help

    1. Yes fully compatible
    a) Yes updates are free until vBTubePRO v3.x (Now v2.52). vBTube worked with all Versions with vBulletin in the past.

    2. Planned for Forum Posts.
    a) Yes you can set the forum id to each vBTube Category. But we recommend to use only 1 Forum for all comments.

    3. Planned

    4. Yes, but you have to do 3-4 edits in the css when you have a dark background. Nothing to edit for white backgrounds.
It's a 2 min job and i am helping with this issue.

Thank you for the quick answers.

Once purchased I'd like to add it to my test forum. I use it only for adding new mods/addons to test and perfect before uploading to my active site. It helps me and my moderators test the interactions and the adjustments that can be made prior to the members getting to use it. We try very hard to use and abuse it, try all kinds of different features so we are knowledgable and comfortable with it before our members. My test site is NOT a working public site. Only used internally for testing purposes. It has all the exact same mods and uses the same theme and customizations as the live site. I hope this isn't a problem. The test install I use is a subdirectory of the live site and I can submit that url also if needed. Just so you know I'm not using it for more than one site.

Thank you. That's great. I just placed my order and downloaded the zip. How do I get the second license key? Will you PM it to me or should I write you first?

By the way: I saw you have a dark template. You can do the edits in vbtube_css template to make it compatible with the dark background. Check this thread: http://www.vbtube.com/vbtubepro-articles/5432-vbtube_css.html#post23551

    I
created this thread today so not all parameters are explained.
I dont know you have css experience, if yes, then you can set it yourself in 2-5 minutes.
If not i can do it for you - i need admincp login with template edit permissions.
    Kind Regards

Thank you for the link to that thread. It did help me. Yes, I do have some experience with css and I've done some more tweaks on my own. I can usually find and adjust what I need to. When I can't or I'm not sure I'll post a question in a thread here.
